While traveling, it’s often the unplanned moments that become a pleasant surprise. While we were strolling through the shops in downtown Rome, we decided to stop for lunch at a small, nondescript café. We had a very pleasant meal and as we left, I turned around and saw a sign in the back that showed that it was a Michelin Star restaurant! What a treat that moment was, and I got a kick out of stumbling into a real, unplanned treasure.
So, my tip is to always allow yourself some free time when you travel to new places and allow for the adventures that come your way – they are often the best memories of the trip!
